The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes, I’m available for travel! Whether your session is in a nearby city, state, or a destination across the country, I’m happy to come to you. Travel within 15 miles is included in all packages. For locations beyond this, a travel fee will apply to cover transportation and accommodations if necessary. I’ll work with you to ensure everything is planned smoothly, so your session or event is stress-free, no matter the destination.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been a professional photographer for 5 years, and during that time, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless moments for individuals, couples, and families. Whether it’s a wedding, a portrait session, or a special event, my experience has taught me how to make clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera while delivering beautiful, timeless images.
Every session adds to my passion for storytelling through photography, and I’m always excited to bring my expertise to your unique moments.
How many photos do we get?
The number of photos you receive depends on the type of session you've selected.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be delivered via a private online gallery, making it easy to view, download, and share your images with friends and family. You’ll receive an email with a link to your gallery, along with instructions on how to access and download your photos.
• For Standard Sessions: Your gallery will include high-resolution images
• For Weddings/Events: You’ll also receive an organized gallery with highlights and full-resolution downloads.
Do you retouch photos?
Absolutely! Every image you receive is professionally edited to ensure it looks its best. This includes color correction, lighting adjustments, and light retouching to enhance the natural beauty of the photo while keeping it authentic. For more extensive edits (e.g., background removal or significant changes), additional fees may apply, and we can discuss your needs in detail.
Whats your turn around time?
Turnaround time depends on the type of session:
• Portrait or family sessions: You can expect your edited images within 1–2 weeks.
• Weddings or events: Final galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks due to the volume of photos and detailed editing required.
If you need your images sooner, I offer a rush delivery option for an additional fee. This ensures you receive your photos within 48 hours for sessions or 7 days for weddings/events
How do we book you?
Booking is simple! Once you’ve selected your desired package, I’ll send you a booking agreement and an invoice for the 25% non-refundable deposit, which secures your session or event date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session or 1 week before events. Contact me via [email, phone, or website form], and I’ll guide you through every step to make the process smooth and easy
Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely! I’m here to make your session or event as seamless as possible.
For portrait sessions, I can help with:
• Choosing the perfect location that fits your vision.
• Recommending outfits and styling tips to make sure everything looks cohesive.
• Creating a timeline to ensure we capture the best lighting and moments.
For weddings and events:
• I work closely with you (and your planner, if applicable) to create a detailed photography timeline that ensures every important moment is captured.
• I’ll offer suggestions for the best times and locations for photos based on lighting and flow.
Planning doesn’t have to be stressful—I’ll guide you through every step to make sure everything feels natural and effortless!
How far out do you book?
I typically book sessions up to 6–12 months in advance, especially for weddings and large events. For smaller sessions like portraits or family shoots, I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. However, if you’re planning something last-minute, feel free to reach out! If I have availability, I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
What should we do for an engagement session?
1. Choose a Meaningful Location: Think about places that are meaningful to your relationship—where you first met, your favorite park, or even a dream destination.
2. Plan Your Outfits: Bring two outfits—one casual and one more formal—to add variety to your photos. Stick to a cohesive color palette and wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
3. Incorporate Your Story: Include props or activities that represent your relationship, like a picnic setup, coffee mugs if you’re coffee lovers, or your favorite book or hobby.
4. Relax and Be Yourselves: The best photos happen when you’re having fun and being authentic. Don’t stress about posing—I’ll guide you through everything to make sure it feels natural and effortless.
5. Consider Timing: Plan for golden hour (the hour before sunset) for soft, flattering lighting.
Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. I’ll work with you to create a session that’s personal, fun, and truly reflects your love story!
What should we wear?
• Keep It Simple and Coordinated: Neutral tones, soft colors, and minimal patterns photograph beautifully. Avoid loud prints or logos that can distract from the overall image.
• Complement, Don’t Match: Coordinate your outfits with complementary colors rather than matching exactly. Think of a cohesive color palette that works well together.
• Dress for the Location and Season: Choose outfits that fit the environment (e.g., casual for a beach session or formal for an urban setting) and are comfortable for the weather.
•Layers and Accessories: Add depth and texture with layers like jackets or scarves and subtle accessories like hats or jewelry.
